BCS Mulching machine PM-A 100 Plastic film mulch layer

Mulching consists of covering the cultivated soil with a sheet.

The PM-A 100 mulching machine is equipped with preload springs connected to the wheels and swing arms of the rear ploughshares to ensure optimum ground adaptation in case of depressions:

• greater operating comfort
• quicker forward speed of the two-wheel tractor.

The mulching machine places the sheet on the ground and simultaneously buries its edges, on both sides, to keep it anchored to the ground.

The working width is adjustable according to the size of the reel used.

The advantages of mulching:

• Stops the growth of weeds in the garden.

• It retains more moisture in the soil with the consequent advantage of limiting irrigation.
• It protects the soil during heavy rain, preventing it from compacting the soil and keeping it softer.
• It has a temperature control function for the soil.
